I am in the process of becoming who I really always meant to be. Once one reaches the age of 50+ it’s about time you settle down and really BE who you are. I am doing that.

I have 2 almost grown children and 2 very dominant cats. I love sensual things; food, music, textures, art. I love intellectual things; history, philosophy, spirituality, and Alton Brown’s “Good Eats” show.

As I am growing up I am also learning to accept who I am, both on a physical level and on an emotional level. It’s finally time to be me, as I am, with everyone I meet.

My life is and has been the balancing of opposites.  I suppose that would make me well rounded.

On one side I'm very physical and analytical. As a licensed professional Massage Therapist I use both sides of my brain at once analyzing, balancing, fixing, soothing body and mind.  Early in my life I was a show dancer and taught dancing.
 
But in college my major was psychology. As a long time (36 yrs) devoted Christian, God has remolded me into an instructor of Scripture intent on assisting people to do inductive analytical study with contextual, historical, and grammatical accountability, which I've done for many years.  Also founded two Christian community newspapers, and a Christian Rehab house.

These days I am tinkering with writing.  One never knows where that could lead.  :)

I'm a marketing and public relations specialist for Allie Design Group as well as a fine art artist. Although I work with a wide variety of clients, from manufacturers to retailers, I'm recognized in healthcare marketing and public relations, which I have specialized in for 15 years. I'm the owner of MedMarketingBlog.com, which I created to help physicians and other health care professionals navigate through the maze of advertising choices for their practices.

As an artist, I have innovated a hybrid art form which blends traditional advertising techiniques with new technology. You can see my work at my website, Anntopia.com. It is also on exhibit in my very favorite art galleries in the state of Michigan, the Timmel Collection in Saugatuck, Synchronicity in Glen Arbor and Chimera Designs in Lowell. I've been a life coach, hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, web designer, Internet consultant, resume expert, musician, and amateur comedian, among other things. Lately, I'm focusing on writing, though that is subject to change.

Currently, my big project is OnCoaching, an online publication and community for personal and business coaches. I have a two blogs: the Feel Good Girl (with podcast) and Closet Sci-Fi Geek. I also contribute to the Blogging Blog and, once in a blue moon, Manifest Dignity. You can also find articles I've written at Gather, where I host a group called Sustainability for Real People.

I live in Southern California. I am 30something and never-married, and could be one of those gals on "Sex in the City." I have dated a mind-numbing number of men. I do hope to get married some day, but I'm waiting for it to be "right." What that means, I have no idea.

I love surfing, riding my bike, and swimming. Lately I've been learning guitar and writing songs just for fun. Life's not bad.
