If one can firmly grasp Agape/Love, one has gained the pinnace of greatness. There is nothing greater to experience nor greater to give.
Interesting for me but my first real experiences with agape was in sharing my love of animals and other living creatures with God. And I do mean sharing, for God agapes all his created creatures. It is only that humans share a commonality with God that other creatures do not that makes us stand out. One of the main differences is our ability to grasp agape-love.
Confined to an office for one day with nothing much to do I had decided to make it a day of worship. I sang to God. It allowed my emotions to rise. God encouraged me. And then at one point it felt like God Almighty was in the room with me sharing in my adoring love of His beautiful unique creatures. We delighted together. It was beyond words. God encouraged me to deight in His creatures and told me that He “felt” and loved them through me.
Amazingly, God went on to tell me how He uses the creatures of the world to bless us and share His Love for us. So, God progressed me from love of all creatures to love of my fellow human. God composed this song about how much He loves us and I wrote it down. Although there were no deep intellectual discussions that day, the depth of our conversation surpassed any other experience I had had before. My whole being was immersed in JOY. I was standing inside the pinnacle of greatness and it had nothing to do with me. <g>
The presence was so thick on me that everyone I met that evening felt a lift in their spirit. The joy was emanating from my person. I could almost see it move upon them as if it were a living thing. Perhaps it was - in the form of the living presence of the Holy Spirit.
Now in my esteem THAT was the only pinnacle of greatness that matters. And it is something anyone from any station of life can reach for and find. Yet, it is not the point of greatness that the world seeks, neither does the world in general want a woman to achieve it or any other kind of perceived greatness. It is interesting to note that when I shared that song that God composed with the church I was attending at the time, God caused a bird to sing in the tree over the roofless church right when I sang the words “listen to the birds sing”. It was so awesome, God loves us so much. Some of us are so thankless .
In that church, the men in their respected places of authority (worldly pinnacles of greatness) rose to silence me. They rose to silence the words from God telling them of His Great love. Interesting. They could not conceive that a woman would truly experience God to the depth that I had that day and simply did not want to hear it. Amazing yes. But they would listen to anything from a man, anointed or not. Though that sweet bird kept singing his sweet song for hours to remind those who would listen, the Holy Spirit quietly slipped away from the meeting that day. One little bird singing for hours all by itself, a little miracle echoing in the emptiness of what was supposed to be a house of worship.
Some think greatness is positional authority and power. I experienced great power and it was Agape-Love.

I can only say, thank you! Thank you for sharing that wonderful experience and joy. Thank you for sharing the song's existence. You have given that joy and that bird an opportunity to continue singing through your words on this page. A great gift from God, through you, and onward forever.
